Teke

A classic Teke Turkmen rug, handwoven in the tradition that has defined Turkmen weaving for centuries. The deep madder-red field carries rows of the octagonal gul medallion — the tribal emblem of the Teke people — rendered in ivory, saffron and midnight blue.

Multiple guard borders frame the field, and the rug finishes in hand-knotted fringe at both ends. Every knot is tied by hand; no two pieces are identical.

Care

Vacuum regularly without a beater bar. Rotate once or twice a year for even wear. Professional rug cleaning only. Use a quality rug pad on hard floors.
